Our Future Home – Construction Begins!
 

We are excited to announce that renovations to our new facility have begun!

Soon, our main building – the old Central Hospital – will be a fully renovated new purpose built facility.

Anticipating the Health Care needs of tomorrow
We have worked with designers and planners to build a health care facility which enhances patient care and anticipates the health care needs of tomorrow. A facility that will allow us to decrease wait times and provide much needed primary care services to the residents of southeast Toronto.
 

Reducing Disruptions
During the construction phase we are determined to be a good neighbour to those in the local community. We are taking steps to reduce any disruptions or inconvenience the renovation work may cause you. Soon the outdoor activity will cease and contractors will complete the remaining work inside the building.

Planned Security
The building and the area around it will have 24 hour security protection and we will work diligently to ensure that Sherbourne’s regular operations cause you no difficulty.

Extended Programs and Services
There is clearly great energy and excitement building in the community as we get closer to opening our new facility. This time next year, we expect to have occupied our new space and to serve the community with integrated programs and services, including an extended-hour Primary Care Response Centre and an Infirmary for the Homeless and Underhoused.

Current Services
We continue to offer primary health care programs and services at our clinical site - the two story annex just south of the main building at 333 Sherbourne Street.
