At Sherbourne Health Centre, we believe that complementary and alternative care is an important adjunct to the achievement of health and wellness. Through innovative partnerships, we are able to offer local residents three complementary and alternative care clinics:
The
Chiropody Clinic
The
Community Naturopathic Clinic is a partnership of the the
Toronto People with AIDS Foundation (PWA), the
Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and the Sherbourne Health
Centre. It functions as a teaching clinic operated by final-year CCNM students
under the supervision of licensed naturopathic doctors.
This clinic could not offer its services without the generous funding and
support of individual donors and funders including the
M.A.C. AIDS Fund
The Chiropractic Clinic is a student practicum clinic in partnership with Sherbourne Health Centre and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
It is staffed by final-year student interns, who under the supervision of licensed chiropractic doctors, co-ordinate the delivery of services to clients.
The Chiropody (foot care) Clinic
The Chiropody Clinic is a student practicum clinic in partnership with The Michener Institute. It is staffed by final-year student interns who, under the supervision of licensed chiropodists, co-ordinate the delivery of services to clients.
