The Making Us Visible Project: Promoting Access to Breast Health and Breast Cancer Services for Lesbian and Bisexual Women 
 

This ground breaking initiative, funded by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Ontario Chapter, was a partnership between Sherbourne Health Centre and other community agencies eager to develop health promotion activities and support for lesbian and bisexual women in the area of breast health and breast cancer.

The project goals were:

- To increase lesbian and bisexual women's understanding and awareness around breast health
- To increase the accessibility of breast cancer services for lesbian and bisexual women
- To develop resources for other groups wanting to do similar work
