Sherbourne
Health Centre’s interdisciplinary team works with clients in our communities to
improve their physical, mental, social, spiritual and intellectual health. We
believe everyone has the right to be healthy and to make choices to improve
their quality of life.
We dedicate
considerable staff resources to education and community development activities
to address the health issues that particularly affect LGBT people as a
population. Our goal is to overcome barriers that have previously made it
difficult for you and others who share similar health concerns to access
culturally acceptable and relevant healthcare services.Resource Materials
As part of our health promotion activities, we have developed various
information materials – many in collaboration with other organizations - for use
by LGBT people and service providers.
