Sherbourne Health Centre is committed to providing specialized mental health counselling services and groups that empower LGBT people - youth, adults, couples, families, and parents to live healthier, happier lives. Our mission is to reduce barriers to health. Therefore, we provide a range of services free of charge to those who have trouble accessing quality care due to poverty, homophobia, racism, and social isolation.
Our counsellors are experienced and have an in depth understanding of the issues and life difficulties often faced by LGBT people. Many of our counsellors identify as LGBT and all are LGBT positive.
If youre dealing with issues such as coming out, homophobia, gender identity, relationship difficulties, transitioning, anxiety, and depression we can help through single session consultation or longer-term treatment.
Our goal is to offer you high quality, confidential services in a non-judgmental and welcoming environment. Counsellors are respectful and sensitive to your issues. Your privacy is always protected because we take strict measures to safeguard your health information.
